Research Center
CAIIE — the Research Center for Automation, Computer Science and Electrical Engineering — is a recognized research structure within FIEETI, Valahia University of Târgoviște, dedicated to fundamental and applied research in automation, industrial informatics, electrical engineering, artificial intelligence, and Industry 5.0. Mihai Bîzoi is a member of this center.

Current Research Directions
- Automation, industrial informatics, and smart electrical systems — fundamental and applied research directions, aligned with the CAIIE center’s themes.
- Cybersecurity and informatics — aggregating and analyzing cyber threat information (threat intelligence) and hybrid decision support systems based on fuzzy logic.
- Computer networks, IT infrastructures, and cloud technologies — designing, securing, and modernizing networking and virtualization infrastructures in the academic environment.
- STEM education, inclusion, and teaching innovation — a direction reflected in the European applied-research projects carried out over the past 15 years, in the fields of science education, sustainability, and renewable energy.
